Nicollet MN Meat Market Schmidts, en route to Schells.

Greetings, Speaking of Grilling and such. On my last trip to Mankato/New Ulm, I stopped at Schmidts Meat Market in Nicollet. I can highly recommend the beer sticks, the garlic sausage and the bacon. The steaks, brats, jaegers, polish, etc. also looked good. Not sure about their saturday hours. I was there on a weekday afternoon. BTW, you go through Nicollet if you turn right/west off of 169 on the south edge of St. Peter. It's a short cut over to New Ulm that bypasses Mankato. Also at the south end of St. Peter is Hwy 22, aka the Road to/by Kasota, Mid America Brewing and also the more direct route to Bandana Brewing. Hwy 22 is a left off of 169. It runs mostly due south. Turn right/west on Cnty Hwy 41 if memory serves. Happy Trails, YMMV, Hope this helps.
