Seems like you could apply much of this here... be it the Wild or the Twins
or the lack of Legally mandated MN Beers at events such as Taste of MN.
The Grinch who stole Beer_flavor/Baseball/Hockey/etc.

I have long believed that if the games were more available to the public
that interest in hockey would be greater than it is in Chicago, which at the
end of the day would make Dollar Bill more dollars.

My friend Bill and I can usually run off several lines of dialogue from an
imagined Chicago edition of "It's a Wonderful Life:"
"George, you're a fool for throwing away good money putting your Bulls and
White Sox games on television where any drunkard can slouch into a common
tavern and see it for free!"
"Wha-wha- well, whadaya mean, Mister Potter?"
"I say, any true fan of my team is going to be the one who comes down to my
stadium, pays to sit in my seats and pays to drink my beer. And if they
don't come to my games, they'll have to pay to watch it on my
POTTER-VISION!"
"Uh, well, uh, that's where you're wrong, Mister Potter! Those drunkards
you talk about are the good people who built this city you're trying to
ruin. Yeah, and they built that stadium you claim is yours. They do most of
the living and working and drinking in this town, and they deserve a chance
to watch a game in their living rooms without having to pay fifty bucks for
your pay-per-view, or pay thirty bucks to park at that stadium or pay ten
bucks for some cheaply made beer from your distributorship..."
ain't that just like Dollar Bill Wirtz...
Many among CBS would love to own a brewery like that, and could make
wonderful things with it. Yet the idiot refuses to brew with it. This
from
the man who won't put home games on TV to
protect the season ticket
holders
who he doesn't sell beer to from his fake
brewpub. Sorry, had to get this
off my chest.
