Here are the results from the Fargo Hoppy Halloween contest held this past
weekend. The Prairie Homebrewing Companions put on a great contest, and a

Greetings,
First of all the PHC Hoppy Halloween Challenge Competition Committee wishes
to again thank each and everyone that entered the competition. The final
total was 218 entries, the largest ever.
Thanks to Ray Taylor, and Susan Ruud, for donating a keg of Rogue Dead Guy
Ale, who by the way was back in his grave by mid afternoon of the Best of

This list is as accurate as I can quickly assemble.
Just a side note, amoung all the beers from around the world that found its
way to the Friday night Suite, and the Best of Show was a beer by Ken Quam
of Tolna, ND. This beer was not entered in the competition, however it was
Ken's first attempt at grain brewing. He MALTED his own barley which came
from a North Dakota farmer near Tolna. He did all the research necessary
to
make this a successful first grain brew.
Kudos to Ken, he received many many comments on the beer, it was good.
