The beer will be released at a Summit 30th Anniversary Celebration from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 at Brit's Pub in downtown Minneapolis. The event will feature the inaugural tapping of West London-Style Ale served alongside other Summit favorites, plus live music by Freddie Manton & The Southsiders and Hard Day's Night Beatles Tribute Band. West London-Style Ale will then be available on draught and in six- and 12-packs of 12-ounce cans the second week of August. Combining the classic Maris Otter ale malt with traditional and modern hop varieties, head brewer Damian McConn produced a sophisticated yet highly-drinkable British-Style Best Bitter. It is medium-bodied with toasty, graham cracker malt flavors, complemented with hop flavors and aromas of loganberry, redcurrant, grapefruit and lime.
