I had heard about this some time ago but not any specific information. I know that one of the local grocery stores only sells low alcohol versions of beer. I dont know if this is the case everywhere in Minnesota but thats what I have come to believe.
I have gotten frustrated with the quality of beer at bars and restauraunts so I have stopped getting beer when I am out all together. If I find myself at a pub and can get Guinnes or other darks on tap then I will do that but thats about it.

I was at Lions Tap in Eden Prairie and asked why they had 2 taps for
Miller Light.
Well, it's what they sell the most and it lets them
fill pitchers from one tap and glasses at the other so they don't hold
up the staff.
Anyway, I suggested they ditch the 2nd tap and get some better beer.
They said there's a limited number of 3.2 beers that pour well. Summit
EPA 3.2 does NOT pour well, they said.
No wonder, their Schells Dark and Killians don't taste quite right. It
would be nice if you knew up front what you were buying.
