Chili Chili Chili

Howdy club members. Tex here with an exciting invite for y'all to our first annual Chili Contest. It's true folks, we heard rumors of chili shortages from Iowa to Canada; you must be preparing for the big event. It's also true I recently returned from a wonderful week in Texas. In case you haven't heard or really just dislike chili, the club is also having a swap meet so you may be able to swap some of your unused really neat beer stuff for somebody elses' really neat and unused beer stuff. You get the picture. Cook your best chili and come down or over or up to the CSPS hall this Saturday, March 13. The big event starts around 2:30. If you don't know where the CSPS hall is, go to the Glockenspiel (on west 7th in St. Paul) and find the stairway to the second floor. If you have a really really heavy container or need assistance, use the elevator available from the side door entrance. Remember, to enter the contest you need to follow the rules. Bring your best Red (no beans); Anything goes (yep); or Green (verde). Include the recipe (meaning the recipe you actually used). Judging starts after everything is warm. The club currently has a medium large supply of throw away bowls but is low on plastic silver ware. Please bring your own spoon. Ok, let's review.
