Schell's Bockfest
The 22nd Annual Schell's Bock Fest is Saturday, February 21st, 2009. As usual, it will be held on the brewery grounds with live music from the Bock Fest Boys, warm bonfires, tasty food, and of course, plenty of delicious Schell's Beer! You will need an ID to get in.
The St. Paul Jaycees organize a bus to Bock Fest as a fundraiser.
Tickets are $50 and need to be cash or check made out to the St. Paul Jaycees purchased at The Happy Gnome 498 Selby Ave St. Paul, MN.

8am The Happy Gnome : Register and grab some breakfast (provided in ticket price)
9am The Coach departs The Happy Gnome
11am Arrive at Bock Fest ($50 admission included in ticket price)
4:30pm Coach departs New Ulm
6:30pm Coach returns to The Happy Gnome
Furthermore Beer Dinner
The Furthermore Beer Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday Feb 24. Tickets available for $60. The brewer will be releasing a new beer that night called the Thermo Refur. The Happy Gnome is excited to host the owners Aran Madden and Chris Staples.

Knot Stock - black pepper pale ale
Make Weight - Belgian style ale
Proper - English style ale
Fallen Apple - cream ale with pressed apples added
Three Feet Deep - smoked stout
6 pm - Meet and Greet,

Sheephead Ale Release Party

Sheephead Ale is coming soon! February 28 is the release date for our newest beer. We will be celebrating with a release party Feb 28 at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul. We'll bring a couple casks of sheephead (extra dry-hopping of course!) to sample and answer any questions or just talk beer. Also, for all sheephead (Schaf-Kopf for anyone over 60) players, we'll host a tournament with prizes for top scores.
Check in at 2pm, tourney runs 2:30 – 5:30pm. If you would like to learn how to play, visit Yahoo's Sheepshead game room. It's a great way to learn. For those who do not play, we'll celebrate another old German tradition - drinking beer. Sign up for swag giveaways throughout the day.
