What could be better than a meat raffle? You buy a ticket or two, wait and see and—if you are lucky—you get to take home delicious meat.
How about if that meat raffle also includes Belgian Beer, Wonderful Food and Music??
Join me at the 331 Club, NE Minneapolis tomorrow, Sunday, November 25th at 6:00 for GASTRO NON GRATA, a very special event with beer, food, music and god only knows what else.
If I understand the format correctly, I will be on stage first, warming up the crowd with three or four samples of Belgian Beer. Then a band will play for a bit, then Scott Pampuch, the EVIL FOOD GENIUS OF KINGFIELD will get on the stage and cook an EIGHT COURSE MEAL on a CANDLE!
Or something like that.
Anyway, it proves to be surreal, is bound to be fun, and did I mention BELGIAN BEER!
Plus, it's early enough in the day that even geezers like me can whoop it up and still get to work the next day.
