Competition minded folks,
I will be delivering my entries in person for the Hoppy Halloween
competition in Fargo. I will be driving up sometime between October 4th
and 10th. If anyone would like me to deliver their entries please let
me know soon. This would be a good chance for people to geographically
expand their competition experience if you are interested in doing so.
This competition only requires 2 bottles per entry (it's usually 3
bottles). A nominal handling fee of 50 cents per entry is requested to
help with travel expenses (gas and a couple beers).
If you have never entered a competition or have questions about it, just
ask. Many people, myself included, would be glad to help.
What you need to do:
1. Fill out an entry form for each entry.
2. Have your bottle labels attached to the appropriate bottles with
rubber bands.
3. Have your entries neatly boxed in 6 packs or cases (depending on how
many you have).
4. Have your entry fees (per competition rules) in a clearly marked
envelope with your entries.
5. Submit the handling fee in cash/coin. Handling fee maximum is $5.00.
So if you have over 10 entries all I request is $5.00.
6. Get your neatly packed labeled entries, completed entry forms, entry
fees and handling fees to me by Friday October 3rd.
You may want to include a list of your entries to help the people who
have to log them in. On the list include your name, club, and BJCP
category/subcategory of each entry.
Two options for getting me the entries:
Deliver to my house 1472 Como Ave, St. Paul (651) 644-6098. Call or
email to setup home delivery.
If it is more convenient, they could be dropped off at my work in Edina
(near Hwy 100 and 494). Email or call to setup work delivery.
Other arrangements may be made, just contact me.
