The pre Duluth Holiday Parade Happy Hour at Fitgers Brewhouse this past friday has a huge success. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season and the suggestion has been made to make it an annual event. I second the motion. Speaking of traditions, the traditional November meeting of the Northern Ale Stars will be hosted (as is tradition) by club Brewmaster Bryn Jacobson on Sunday, November 27th at the usual 2:00 PM-ish starting time. The address is 631 E. 8th Street in Duluth (218-722-9291). This is also the address of Boreal Bicycle Works, so ride your bike on over and Bryn will give it a quick check-up (ok...ok...it may be a bit cold these days). Bring some homebrew or a good beer you like along with a snack to share with the group, you'll probably have a lot of left-over snacks from Thanksgiving so bring those along. Last year at Bryn's meeting we were fittingly treated to a spectacular show of Northern Lights, so you never know what will happen. Cheers!
