Music, and Charity to Create A New Kind of Beer Festival
(MINNEAPOLIS,
MN) – The Beer Dabbler Showcase—which starts its 2009 tour in
Burnsville on May 16—is a beer festival for those with an exuberance for
beer that cannot be satisfied by a bar alone. When this beer tour hits town,
guests are sure to bubble over with excitement for the frothy, foamy festival,
which features more than 150 different beers from 30 breweries. The festival will
also include beer-perfect food and music by Minneapolis-based e.l.N.o. A
portion of each ticket sold from the Burnsville event will be returned to the
community through the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce.

The Beer
Dabbler Showcase runs from May until October and includes stops in 11 cities in
Minnesota and South Dakota. The festival will showcase a wide range of beer
from hometown favorites to imports. The Beer Dabbler has partnered with Rock
the Cause to provide live music and benefit a local charity at each festival
stop.
“The Beer
Dabbler is a festival for people like me,” says creator Matt Kenevan.
“I love beer, but I’m not a beer snob. The Beer Dabbler is a place
for enthusiasts to gather and enjoy the golden goodness.”
The Beer
Dabbler Showcase launched in 2009 and combines creator Matt Kenevan’s
love of good beer, local music, and community contribution through charity. The
Beer Dabbler Showcase features primarily regional beers from microbreweries,
but without exception, every highlighted beer tastes great. The Beer Dabbler
Showcase will make an 11-city tour through Minnesota and South Dakota. For more
