Subject: Call for Judges – 2015 Great Northern Brew-Ha-Ha!

Registration is now open for the 2015 Great Northern Brew-Ha-Ha!, hosted by the Northern Ale Stars of Duluth & Superior. The 2015 Great Northern Brew Ha-Ha will be held February 6th & 7th in the charming port-side city of Duluth MN. All BJCP categories of Beer, Mead, and Cider are eligible for entry.

This year’s event will be held at Tycoons Alehouse (www.tycoonsalehouse.com ) in downtown Duluth. For those people coming from out of town, the hospitality suite and hotel rooms will be at the Voyageur Lakewalk Inn, a short 2 block walk from the event. Room rates are $69/$79 during the Brew-Ha-Ha, a block of rooms has been saved under the name Terry Sarne. The awards banquet will be held at Tycoons Alehouse starting at 6:00 pm on February 7th. You can register and pay for the banquet on the Brew-Ha-Ha! website. This year will not be banquet style as in years past, you will need to register for it prior to the event. No walk-ins for dinner will be allowed, but you can always come just for the awards ceremony.

Thanks to our generous sponsors there will be a number of great prizes up for grabs in the volunteer raffle. You will receive one entry ticket for each session that you volunteer for so sign up early and often!

As with past years, anyone volunteering for the Upper Mississippi Mash-out ( www.mashout.org ) January 23rd & 24th can drop-off their entries at the Mash-out and have their entries safely transported to Duluth for FREE!! Other FREE drop-off locations are all Northern Brewer retail locations (including Milwaukee), Midwest Homebrewing in St. Louis Park MN, and the Thirsty Pagan Brewing in Superior WI.
