Friends and Neighbors of the Winery

Now this is a cool little place! Mary and Dave make the best hand crafted cheeses in the entire northwoods from cow, sheep and goats milk. These cheeses are lovingly hand crafted and aged in caves Dave built overlooking a five acre pond on the homestead. This location serves to funnel the “toolie fog” that gently seeps into the open air caves, bringing with it all of the wet, spicy, sweet flavors of the northwoods...wild lilacs, evergreens, mustard grass, violets, clovers, sweet milkweed and others.

The cheeses of Love Tree Farm have won many prestigious awards including: “Best Young Sheep Cheese”, “Best of show” at the American Cheese Society Conference, “Best Aged Sheep Milk Cheese”, and “Best Sheep Milk Cheese Overall”

Take the time to check the web site and order these fines cheeses. They pair well with Cyser, Sweet Mead, Black Mead and others. Perfect for holiday entertaining or very unique gifts. These cheeses would also pair well with White Winter Bracketts, a porter or stout for the beer aficionado on your Christmas list.
