Perhaps if bars which allow smoking were to serve rauchbier it wouldn't
be an issue. :)

I'm in favor of "government" using incentives to solve problems. For
example: Bars/restaurants get a tax break, insurance break, or cheaper
liquor license if they ban smoking. If they offer food/beer education
or
appreciation, same deal. I don't think those who truly appreciate
quality
food, wine, beer, or even cigars, are as much a problem to society as
the
folks who simply don't think about how their actions affect others.
