2005 POT-LUCK CHRISTMAS
PARTY
The MhBA annual Pot-Luck Christmas Party
is NEXT FRIDAY, DEC 9, from 6-10pm at the Sokol Hall (CSPS) in St. Paul,
at 383 Michigan St, St. Paul, MN 55102 (above the Glockenspiel). THIS
IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT! Bring your s/o and kids! Cost is
FREE!
FOOD:
Bring a dish to share (MADE WITH BEER,
if you want to participate in the Food competition), and bring 50 or so
copies of your recipe and a small sign stating your name what the dish
is. REMEMBER to bring extension cords for crock pots, and serving
utensils. The CSPS has SOME serving utensils, but not enough for
everyone.
BEER TO SHARE:
Bring some beer to share - there will
be a "People's Choice" competition for the best beer. We
will also be starting our "Style of the Month Club" at this meeting
(see info in THE BOILER.) This month's style is "Winter Ale/Spiced
Beers".
BEER TO TRADE:
Bring up to 24 bottles to TRADE with
your fellow homebrewers! Mark each bottle with your name, your email,
the style, and optionally the name of the beer.

UPPER MISSISSIPPI MASH-OUT
The Upper Mississippi Mash-Out is being
held on Jan 20-21 this year. There are several DEADLINES which you
should know about:
BEER BANQUET:
Remember how Winterfest's 100 spots
