Hi Alexey,
 
With sanitation being so important in canning, I would think you would want to boil/steam, to be certain.  StarSan does a good job, but there is always the question of, "Did it touch that particular spot?" and also the notion of whether the acid concentration was high enough . . .
 
Too many factors involved for me with StarSan to try it.  Boiling/steaming is so easy . . .

Any idea if using StarSan to sanitize jars instead of steaming them, boiling etc. would be a good idea? Anyone with experience?
