Well, all of Sep is booked.  Oct 1 is GABF, Oct 15 is Whistle Stop Brewfest in Ashland.  It's the 8th or not at all this year.  Believe me, after all I've been through this year, it wouldn't hurt my feeling to cancel it.

ABR 2005

Greetings!

I know a lot of folks are anxious about the Autumn Brew Review this year,
probably none greater than myself.  We've had an incredibly tough,
complicated year of planning, and still are running into problems.
In addition to being dropped by our co-sponsor, they also scheduled the
Blubber Run against our event.  Next we found out that Peavey is booked
by Orchestra Hall on Sep 10.  We are currently looking at alternative
venues/dates.  Oct 8 is looking promising.

So much for the bad news.  The good news is the ABR will happen.  Tickets
will be handled differently this year now that the Guild is back fully in
charge.  We will be using Ticketworks (like we did the first year), so
tickets will be mailed to you in advance (up to 10 days prior to the
event).  This should alleviate problems at will call.  We've got some new
breweries attending and a different glass style (the previous were fine,
but not for 4 years in a row!)

I'll let everyone know when tickets finally go on sale--should be any day
now.  We need everyone's help spreading the word about the festival.
While it is nice being fully in control of the festival, the financial
aspect is quite daunting.  I've said it a couple of times already this
year, and it bears repeating--this will either be the best ABR ever, or
the last.  Hopefully it is the former.

Cheers!
