Night of the Living Ales winners

Congratulations to the winners of the first ever CBS Night of the Living Ales cask beer tasting. The three most favored beers, by popular vote, at the tasting were: 3rd place: Flossmoor Station Hop Smack 2nd place: Three Floyds Brian Boru 1st place: Kalamazoo Brewing Bell's Two Hearted Besides a dizzying quantity of great cask beer, attendees were presented with an abundance of food, both from our hosts, Goose Island, and from local cheese and sausage artisans. A big thanks to all of the breweries who donated beer, the folks at Goose Island, and to all attendees. Be on the look out for order forms to our June event, the CBS Weizen/Weisswurst brunch. This mid-day event will feature beers made in the Bavarian Weizen style (with a possible German Pils to keep things interesting) and a German brunch including weisswurst. In order to ensure CBS members have a chance to attend this and future events, we'll be offering a members'-only window prior to general ticket sales.
