I just talked to Byggvir's Web Master.  After beating him with sticks, he apologized for the registration hiccups.  It should be all better now, so if you were not able to register to judge or steward before, please try again.  And remember, for security purposes, you will get an email that you have to confirm before your registration is complete. 
 
The contest is held on site at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival on September 11th & 12th.  You do get into the Fest free on the day(s) you volunteer.  We are accepting volunteers and entries through September 5th.
