Subject: [JudgeNet] 28th Annual Kansas City Bier Meisters Homebrew Competition - Call for judges

Hi

The 28th Annual Kansas City Bier Meisters Homebrew Competition is being held February 18-19, 2010 at the Holy Field Winery in Basehor, Kansas (just west
of Kansas City). Entries are being accepted in all 28 BJCP beer, mead and cider categories through February 5.

We are looking for judges and would greatly appreciate any help. See http://www.kcbmcomp.com for judging times and more information on the competition. Click on the Entry/Registration tab to register to judge or to register entries.

If you plan on coming out be sure to check out the activities. We have organized a tour of Boulevard Brewing Company for Saturday afternoon and Steven Hale of Schlafly Taproom will be speaking Saturday evening. The awards banquet will feature BBQ from Oklahoma Joes, one of Anthony Bourdain's "13 Places to Eat Before You Die".

We provide dinner Friday and breakfast and lunch Saturday for all volunteers. In addition, Paul Kavulak of Nebraska Brewing Company will speak to the volunteers on Saturday morning.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Cheers,

John Fowler (Judge Coordinator) jcfowler@gmail.com
Amy Satterlund (Competition Organizer) oregonamy@gmail.com
