This is the big one - the World's LARGEST Homebrew Competition
Entries must be received between April 9th and April 18th (1st round judging
starts April 25th).
Once again the MHbA will offer packaging and shipping for entries. I would
like to ship the entries on Tuesday April 8th to ensure they arrive on time.
Packaging of all entries will be Monday April 7th
Here is what you need to enter:
* one (1) bottle for each BEER or MEAD entry for 1st round
* three (3) bottles for each CIDER entry
* only one entry allowed per subcategory
* bottles must be 10 to 14 oz, brown or green glass, crown capped free
& from paper labels. Caps with lettering must be blacked out
* Each entry must have a completed entry form attached (ciders -
attach a copy to each bottle). Attach entry form with a rubber band - no
tape allowed.
* A check or money order, made out to AHA or American Homebrewers
Association, for $12 (non-AHA member) per entry. AHA members pay only $8 per
entry, but must include AHA number on check. Indicate home many entries on
check
NO RECIPES REQUIRED for 1st round entries. Any entry BEER or MEAD entry
advancing to 2nd round will require 3 additional bottles plus recipe to be
shipped in late May
DROP OFF TIMES:
April 1st and 2nd - 7-10pm at Harwell's Steakhouse & Brewery in Shakopee.
April 3rd (Thursday) 6-10 pm at the BJCP Class at Rick Oftel's house
You bring the entries, forms and fees - I'll do the packaging/shipping for
$1 per bottle
