Hello to all,
Here is the skinny on the River City Roundup Fair & Festival:
Competition date: September 13, 2003
Judging begins at 10:00 a.m.
Upstream Brewing Company
514 S. 11th St.
Omaha NE 68102
2 bottles required for each entry
Entries are $5 each for first 3 entries; $4 each after that.
Entries will be accepted between August 25 and September 6. Please ship
entries to:
Upstream Brewing Co.
ATTN: Zac Triemert/DCF
514 S. 11th St.
Omaha, NE 68102
Local entries will be accepted between 9 am and Noon on Saturday, September
6, 2003 at the Upstream.
This is a BJCP-sanctioned competition. Entries will be accepted in all
recognized BJCP-recognized style categories.
This competition has been held for approximately 10 years, and has been
BJCP sanctioned for the last 3 or 4 years. It has generally been a small
competition. We are hoping to grow this into a nice event that can tie
into Omaha's fall festival, River City Roundup. There are no events (such
as a potluck dinner or pub crawl) planned at this time, but we hope that we
can add those type of events in the future. We are looking forward to
being associated with the High Plains Homebrewer of the Year competition!
There will be more information to follow concerning a URL for web-based
info on the event.
