[mba] MHBA road cleaning April 5th

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Do you know what time it is?  (let’s hum this to the tune of Howdy Doody)  It must be Spring Time now.  The road is dirty now.  It’s dirty on the west.  We’ll need to do our best.  It’s dirty to the East And dirty to the South You get to keep the stuff We’re sure you’ll get enough.  OK,  I must have had one of those marketing moments; sorry for getting carried away.  A few years ago our club picked a 2 mile stretch of road to clean and beautify.  Yours truly was supposed to organize a club event about three times a year but unfortunately the organizational expertise had a hick-up last fall and the task never was accomplished.  I tried diligently to get together on Easter until I realized it was Easter and then went scrambling around for another date. Long story short.... Meet 9:00 am April 5 th at the shopping center parking lot at the intersection of Shady Oak Road and Mainstreet (possibly 1/2 block north of Mainstreet).  We’ll start out the day with free coffee and donuts.  Depending on the turnout, we may be able to finish in an hour or three.  From here, we’ll call the shots and either stop at a local establishment for beverages and a snack or simply go on our merry way still buzzing from the club meeting and tasting festival at Northern Brewer warehouse.  RSVP would help for donut procurement.  Coffee may include Colombian, Ethiopian, Sumatra, and one of my new and special blends.  See you there or you be square.  Rick Oftel Cell 952 356-6459 =================== ....From Al: then, when you're done come to the Moose on Monroe at Monroe and Spring Streets in Nordeast Minneapolis to our grand re-opening party for the PedalPub!
