Kim and Eric- If you go to http://www.mnbrewers.com and click on VIEW ENTIRE CALENDAR, then click through the dates with a "+" sign next to them, you will eventually come across October 18 and find the following event: MHBA October Meeting at Town Hall Brewing, 1430 Washington Ave. South, MPLS. 3pm-?? Join us as we help them celebrate their 6th anniversary with special promotions, three beer releases, and live music later on for those who choose to hang around. Unfortunately the calendar only shows the next five events, and this event is beyond that. I'm new to your group and would like to introduce myself. I have been homebrewing on and off for the past 10 years. During the past two years, I have been doing a lot more brewing. I currently have an American Ale in the bottle (tastes great!) and a Holiday Brew (with cinammon, etc.) in the primary fermenter. I have been using kits only. Now I'm looking to expand my horizons and hope you may be able to help me. So, when do you folks get together? (I wrote Kris and she teaches a class about judging beer....not interested in that yet.) The calendar didn't show any meetings coming up. Do you meet regularly? Do you all pretty much know each other so you don't have to actually set up any meetings? I think it would be fun to have a beer and talk with some folks who love beer as much as I do--and know more about beer brewing than I do. So, what's the deal?
