Just wanted to let you know the Northern Ale Star's 2009 Great Northern Brew-Ha-Ha will be February 6th & 7th. So while you're bottling up your beers for the Upper Mississippi Mash-out why not bottle two more to enter in the Brew-Ha-Ha!

    - FREE SHIPPING! - Bring your entries to the Mashout and we'll transport them back to Duluth.
    - Best of show Beer will brew their winning entry at the Thirsty Pagan Brewery AND it will be the Pagan's featured beer (2008 BOS winner Steve Piatz brewed his Belgian Triple at the Pagan this year).
    - $5.00 entry fee (cheap!)
    - The Brew-Ha-Ha is the 2nd stop on the Midwest Homebrewer of the Year circuit.Continue the momentum you build at the Mash-out to propell yourself to greatness!
    - Special category - "Snowblower Beer" - Enter a beer you would like to enjoy after a hard day of snow blowing (sounds like I'm going to need one after this weekend in Duluth).
