Just a quick thanks to the board members who assisted with our brewing event last evening.  In about 4 hours, we brewed up a double batch of "Big Butt-O-Honey Porter" using the beer kit supplied from our friends in North Dakota.  Assistants included Mike Swally and Barb, Mike Moranz, and Dr. Jim.  

The event went quite smoothly with no major accidents, spills, or clogged pipes or fittings and BBOHP is fermenting very rapidly requiring temporary installation of blow off tubes. 

 

The event also included discussion and event planning for the  Christmas party, advanced planning for the February officer elections, and planning and discussions about future meetings and the all important Campout.  Remember, this year, the MHBA hosts the statewide campout and you better plan on having fun! 

 

Numerous house beers were available on tap and in bottles and other varieties were specially delivered for the event.  Catering, provided by a unnamed pizza delivery service, provided a thoroughly  mediocre and slightly warm pizza to a hungry crowd. 

 

Please give some thought about helping your club by volunteering for a prestigious position.  Contact any of the club officers for more information.
