Ok, here is the info on Big Brew 2009 so far:
1)Flat Earth Brewing
Company parking lot, 2035 Benson Ave., St. Paul, 55116. Saturday, May 2nd.
Mash-in starts as early as 8am for those who are brewing, but come at anytime.
Meeting officially begins at 10am. Brewing will go until 5pm.
2)Brew, or
observe and have some beer and food. For those who want to come and brew, you
need to bring your own equipment (propane,burners, ingredients,
etc.).
3)Recipes have been provided at www.beertown.
4)Jeff at Flat Earth will provide mash and heated sparge
water for our club. He is providing hoses for chilling, and if you have a pump
on your system, please bring extention cords. Jeff will also be providing some
folding tables for our event for food or misc.
5)If you want to brew, but
cannot bring equipment, please post a message on the forum.
6)We will have
tents set up in the parking lot in case weather is not on our side.
7)This
event will also be a potluck. Bring a dish, snack, or beverage for the club
meeting if you attending. The club jockybox will also be there if you want to
bring a keg of brew.
8)Chip Walton offered to bring a charcoal grill, but if
you have a gas grill, please bring it too. We can always use extra grill'n
tools.
9)Please bring lawn chairs if you have them.
10)Jeff is offering
time on Friday, May 1st, late afternoon to do any set-up of tents or equipment
if needed in the parking lot.
