Come rain or shine, sleet or snow, nothing prevents ambitious homebrewers from making
their appointed rounds.
Rick here with a last minute announcement about the meeting tomorrow afternoon at Barley
Johns. You know when, you know why, but you maybe aren't sure you can spare the
afternoon. Well then!
Some of us Minnesotans warmly remember watching the Vikings when they were a real team.
Yep, they played real football on real turf under the real clouds, sun, and in the snow
and rain. It built strong character and the fans loved it. Kind of different today when
you watch the Twins hit a run down the first base line and you need to crack your neck to
watch the action on the JUMBOTRON.
With the outside firmly in mind, tomorrow may be the perfect day to try out that rain
jacket, umbrella or parka. Heck, why not go out for the Sorrel boots and make it a
matched pair.
Enough of that. It has been a hectic day. I truly hope to see you and will gladly
contribute a little demonstration on keg cleaning showing the tools, techniques, and tips
that work well for me and many others. There is always controversy so bring your
questions and challenges. Remember, the way that works for you is the right way.
Remember too that the boss is always right.
BTW, I do have one little problem with tomorrow. I don't have any empty kegs. I
will be brewing with a neighbor this evening but very likely some of you will need to help
us out or possibly bring in a dirty and empty container.
Later
