CRAIG CAROTHERS

Hey MHBA members!

Some of you know BETH and I host music house parties.  We’d like to invite you to one we’re hosting next Saturday.  My NE IPA will be on tap!  Bring your own Homebrew too!

We’re so HAPPY that Craig Carothers is driving up from NASHVILLE to play for us on November 9!  There are very few artists that we have back a second time just because there are SO many good ones!  This is Craig’s THIRD performance at our house concert, so that shows how much WE like him!

Hope you can make it!

-          Al and Beth

DETAILS:

Craig last played for us in February of 2010, and it’s been far too long since we’ve seen him!  This will be Craig’s THIRD show at the Old Kitchen Rug.  Craig’s music will make your sides split with laughter, and the next moment touch your heart.  Craig honed his chops in Portland, but now resides in Nashville as an adjunt professor of music guitar.  He has opened for Richard Thompson, Catie Curtis, Boz Scaggs, Roseanne Cash, Ry Cooder, John Hyatt, and Warren Zevon, and his songs have been recorded by Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea, and Peter, Paul and Mary.

Performing Songwriter Magazine says, “Like the best of Elvis Costello and Warren Zevon, Carothers finds the right mix of weary-eyed cynicism and helpless hearted romanticism… Love songs of the most adult and intelligent kind….”

Please join us for a stories and songs with Craig Carothers on Saturday, November 9, 2019 starting at 8pm.
