• Hop rhizome pre-orders are done for the season. We would have liked to give more notice but our hop grower informed us of the cut off quite abruptly.

• If you have pre-ordered: NB will contact you when rhizomes come in.

• If you did not pre-order: NB will have a select amount of varieties for sale when we receive our pre-orders. These will sell on a first come, first served basis. No reserving of hops allowed. We will send a specific email about the hop rhizomes when they arrive.

• All we can say is Brettanomyces. All of the new strains contain Brettanomyces strains, some blended with yeast.

March Mashness

• The Cloudy Town Brewers will be holding their Ninth Annual March Mashness Homebrew Competition open to all homebrewers throughout all 50 States.  The entry deadline has passed but we think they may be looking for judges and stewards, also if you around stop by the Best of Show awards on March 21st.

St. Paul Summer Beer Fest

• Northern Brewer is proud to sponsor the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. NB is the official Glassware Sponsor and we will have a small booth to chat and talk about homebrewing. Come say hello!

• Tickets go on sale this Sunday, March 15th. And from what we understand they are going fast.

• Currently the festival has 37 breweries attending, and that number is rising.
