One evening at an early BJCP training event, we investigated how well imperial stout
worked with ice cream. We concluded we would gain much weight if the remaining beer
samples were all mixed up this way. We did note the flavor was exceptional. It was
almost as good as spiking a Cappuccino with strong bourbon whiskey.
