After using plastic for my primary fermentation vessel for a few years, I have found out
the hard way that the top no longer seals properly and during fermentation, there is no
activity in the airlock.
I am going to start using our glass carboy for primary and secondary to assure a proper
seal takes place.
While I will cool the wert down in plastic, my question is, at what temperture is it safe
to transfer the wert to the glass carboy without causing damage to the glass? (..or
should I not worry about this?..)
Thanks!
