I suggest you investigate a "freight forwarder" type company. We end
up using firms in that line of work for some shipments we make
internationally. These are firms that specialize in international
shipping and the associated customs paperwork.
An alternative, if they can handle your distination, would be the firms
that handle excess luggage. With the new airline rules on baggage
weight and sizes there are companies that will ship your extra baggage
for you, people use them for special stuff like SCUBA gear and other
stuff that is too heavy/big for normal luggage. Had we known we would
have used one on a SCUBA trip where the final flight leg charged us
(and the stuff waited for a later flight) for everything over 30 pounds
total per person and it is pretty hard to get all your gear plus
clothing under that limit.

Considering the fact that it will have to clear
customs, I highly doubt that a pressurized sealed

if you can live with the possibility that you never
see the keg again, go for it! It may work, who knows?

At the end of September, I will be going to

ship some homebrew over to France and share it every
evening with the group. Does anyone know if it?s
possible to ship homebrew (in Cornelius keg) to
France? What are the logistics?
Thanks,
