Chocolate Raspberry Port Pre-Order

Chocolate Raspberry PortFor a limited time only, Winexpert is offering three great products for you to make and enjoy this fall.  We are pleased to announce the return of Chocolate Raspberry Port as well as the Okanagan Peach Icewine.  This year, yet another exciting product is added to the bunch - Blackberry Port!  Be sure to read the mouth-watering descriptions below.

Like past years, all three products will come complete with everything needed to produce 11.5 liters (3 US gallons) of liquid decadence. Each wine kit comes with 11.5L of single-strength juice and concentrate (no diluting!), corn sugar, and 30 peel-and-stick-bottle labels.  We are accepting pre-orders for each of these kits now through August 4th.  They will be available to ship mid-September.

Blackberry Port - Native to the Americas, blackberries are bursting with intense fruit flavors. Often used to describe Cabernet Sauvignon, blackberry aromas are deep and richly fruity. This, along with lingering tannins and a gorgeous deep purple hue make it an excellent foil for the broad richness of Port.

Chocolate Raspberry Port - Hugely popular the last  year, this wine is bursting with rich, intense fruit flavors and aromas, has traditional Port character of warm, rounded cherry and plum, supported by a racy zing of bright raspberry.

Okanagan Peach Icewine Style
- In this climate grapes ripen to perfect intensity, with notes of honey, apricot, and spice.  Winexpert's Okanagan Peach Icewine style has deep floral notes, stone fruit and perfect sweetness, balanced with the sun-ripened perfume of a luscious peach.

New Product Highlights

Blichmann Engineering Products

Lots of new, high-quality products to mention from Blichmann.  Now in stock are
Blichmann Top Tier the HopBlocker beer filter, natural gas conversion parts for Blichmann burners, as well as the TopTier Modular Brewing Stand - configurable just the way you want it on our website!  Be sure to take a look at these and other great products such as the Therminator, ThruMometer, Fermenators, and BoilMakers, all by Blichmann Engineering.  Some products may be drop-shipped to you from Blichmann.

Biomat DAR
Diacetyl-B-Gone!  Add just a few drops of this enzyme to cold wort after the boil, and prevent the formation of diacetyl in your beer.  Diacetyl, naturally produced during the fermentation process, is the main compound that gives beer a "buttery" or "butterscotch" flavor as well as a slick mouthfeel.  In most styles of beer, a noticable presence is considered a flaw.  Given enough time, yeast will reabsorb and remove the flavor from your beer.  Biomat DAR prevents its formation in the first place resulting in a cleaner tasting beer - sooner.  3 ml dropper bottle is enough for roughly twenty 5 gallon batches.

Brew Your Own 250 Clone Recipes
150 Clone Recipes just isn't enough anymore.  Brew Your Own has re-released the 150
Brew Your Own 250 Classic Clone Recipes clone recipes plus an extra 100!  Includes an intro on how to clone brew commercial beers and is cross indexed so you can easily find your favorite recipes by brewery or style.

Premium Dry Yeast Upgrades
You asked for it!  Dry yeasts from Fermentis and Danstar (Nottingham, Munich, etc.) are available with our recipe kits!  Pricing lands between Munton's dry yeast and the Wyeast Propagator.  Some kits, like our high gravity beers, lagers, and Belgian ales come with Dry Yeast upgrades standard.  These are high quality brewing yeasts, and will help you brew great beer.
