I looked at one a while back, it had a hard time with
liquids, coffee, it did good on the glass container.
They would be good for finding air leaks and poor
insulation in this cold climate. Let us know how it
works.

I'll let you know - I bought one. I'll
compare it
to my dial thermometer
and see how it does. I know Sean Hewitt has a very
accurate one - I don't
know how much he paid for it.

Thanks for the info - I didn't know Midwest had
them!
Hey everyone - never mind! I'm going to go buy one
at Midwest instead. (NB
may have them too - any comment from NB?)

Hey Al,
Just thought I'd let you know, we've got those in at
Midwest as well. Same
price!
I picked one up, and it may not be perfect within
0.1°F but it gives a
person a good idea. I just used it to check the
temp of a cooling yeast
starter this morning!
Cheers!

They are $24.95, plus $7.95 for shipping. But
shipping for TEN of them is
only $10.87, and only $11.48 for 20 of them.
I'm going to order one. If anyone else wants to go
in on it, send me a check
for $24.95+ $2 for shipping by next Friday, April 4.
I'll order them on
Saturday, and I'll distribute them at a future club
meeting after I receive
them. If I get enough orders to bring the shipping
down under $2 each, I'll
distribute the savings when I deliver the
thermometers.
