Guys and Gals,
About a year ago, we almost had the opportunity to adopt a small stretch
of highway and have our homebrew club name prominently displayed. I
checked with the same department and they have an opening in Hopkins and
a few of the more remote (outlying) locations.
I still have the e-mail list at home and hope we have enough volunteers
to accept this position. It would require two cleanup's per year and
would involve a 1 or 2 mile stretch of road. They request we perform
these duties for two years.
Let me know if you're still willing to participate. So far we have
Chris, Wilbur, Al (tentative) John L, Mike B, and Jonathan. I think we
need at least 12 show-up-ers which would likely require about 18
volunteers.
What does the group think? Like the thought of a highway sign stating
"Minnesota Homebrewers Association"?
Thanks
Rick
