Jonathan Crist's father , Loyal Vernon Crist, passed away on Monday. Most of you know Jonathan through the BJCP, or through his efforts as Packing Coordinator for beer contests this past year, or perhaps most recently as the presidential nominee for the Minnesota Home Brewers Association at the upcoming spring elections. Loyal was a mechanic for Northwest Airlines for 35 years. He was preceded in death by wife, Florence; and son, Jimmy. Loyal is survived by daughter, Peggy (Kevin) Barrett; and sons, Jonathan (Diane), David (Karen) and Richard (Mary); grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Andrew, Eric, Ryan, Jaime, James, Nora Kay, Daniel and Charles; sisters, Virginia and Edith; many loving relatives and friends.
