Last reminder of the MHBA's Teach-a-Friend-to-Homebrew Day event at Barley John's this Saturday, 10-2.  Homebrew is welcome, and we'll have three extract batches brewing as demonstrations for the uninitiated.  Thanks to Brew & Grow, Midwest Supplies, and Northern Brewer, we'll once again have three entire starter kits with ingredients to give away as door prizes.  Vine Park Brewing Co. has contributed to the door prize pool as well.

Al Boyce has generously brought all-grain equipment and bottling equipment the past five(?) years, but it's time for a new volunteer.  Who is willing to bring the aforementioned equipment, lay it out on a table, and explain it to the masses?  They LOVE capping empty bottles!

The annual cider pick-up will happen Saturday as well.
