Greetings Brewers
I will again be offering packaging and shipping to the brewing competitions
this year. $1 per bottle (for most competitions) to package and ship your
entry.
For the 1st event, and possibly others, we can do better:
Kris England and Pete are heading to Kansas City and have offered to drive
down your entries, if you get them your entries before they leave.
The first competition is hosted by the Kansas City Biermeisters
Entry Deadline: Feb 7, 2004
Judging: Feb 20-21, 2004

1. Entry fee is $6 per entry ($5 each if 7 or more entries are
submitted by one brewer). Please make checks payable to: Kansas City Bier
Meisters.
2. bottles of each beer/cider/mead you wish to enter. The usual
requirements - 10-16 oz. brown or green crown capped bottles. Bottles must
be free of labels or other identifying marks and the bottlecaps plain or
blacked-out.
3. A copy of the official bottle label (or reasonable facsimile)
wrapped around each bottle and held in place by a rubber band. No tape or
glue allowed.
4. A completed recipe/entry form for each entry.
If you would like Kris and Pete to transport you beer they leave Friday
January 23rd. They are asking for gas money, so round up from 50 cents a
bottle or so
Entry collection dates:
Thursday January 22 at BJCP class at Al Boyce's house (after 6 pm) - choice
of driven down or shipped this night only
Wednesday January 28th at HOPS Eden Prairie 6 - 7:30pm (unless other times
are requested)
Thursday January 29th at BJCP class at Steve Piatz's house (after 6pm)
