Call for entries & volunteers: Onion Homebrew Competition

We are currently accepting entries and judges for the 2007 Onion Homebrew Competition. This is a BJCP certified competition, using the 2004 BJCP Style Guidelines (available at BJCP http://www.bjcp.org/index.php) The Best-of-Show winning brewer will receive 10 cases of beer, a $50 gift certificate to Nothern Brewer, and a signed copy of Doug Hoverson's new book about Minnesota brewing, The Land of Amber Waters. The entry and volunteering deadline is December 13, 2007. Judging and awards ceremony will occur Tuesday, December 18, 2007, from 6 pm until midnight, at the Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis (1430 Washington Ave. S). Note that this competition is beer only; no mead or cider will be accepted or judged. $2 per entry.
