Note: Entry Deadline has been extended to June 15th
The Northland Arboretum in Brainerd is hosing their first
annual "Minnesota Country Sampler Picnic", June 24th 5-8pm.
The event will be a sampling of locally produced foods,
wines, and beers.
With the event, they are hosting a homebrewed beer and wine competition.
This is the first time for the event, so they're not quite
sure how many entries to expect. I would expect the beers and
wines to be judged "Best of Show" style with no defined
categories.
There is no entry fee for the contest, but you must be
present at the event to win. I don't have any firm numbers yet, but last
I heard admission would be about $10. More information should be up on
