The Great Yeast Experiment

Greetings fellow brewers, We now have enough committed brewers to perform a clubwide yeast experiment. The experiment is a comparison of British ale yeasts, using a standard British ale recipe. All interested brewers are encouraged to participate, and the more data we have the more accurate our results will be. The results will be written up for posting on the MHBA website, and hopefully for publication in Zymurgy. This is a great chance to learn about an important class of ale yeasts, and will help all of us craft fine British ales. We will aim to complete brewing by the end of May, and taste the ales in one or two sessions in June and/or July.
