Minnesota’s exploding craft beer industry has not only produced delicious beer but has also created demand for high-quality, local hops.  And lots of ‘em. To that end, we produced the Minnesota Hops Grower’s Guide.

The Minnesota Hops Grower’s Guide is not intended to be the end-all-be-all of hops growing, it is simply an honest account of our experience as local hops growers. While the guide is written for a commercial scale, homebrewers and backyard hops gardeners alike can glean new techniques that will make for better yields and tastier hops. The guide covers everything about local, sustainable hops production: design, install, planting, management, harvest, and postharvest handling.
