Actually, it is two parts. First, they are charging an extra fee to bars
that want to stay open until 2am.
Second, they wrote a second bill to add 50 officers to the force.
Personally, I want to know where the extra law enforcement is coming for
the expense associated with the conceal and carry law and the mandatory
pledge of allegiance in our schools.
BTW, did you notice the legislature exempted themselves from people
carrying a concealed weapon.
Reminds me of the days when congress passed laws that did not apply to them
- ie, civil rights, handicapped access, employment laws, - oh, but those
days are over now, eh?!?
