Hi Homebrewers!

If you didn't get a chance to see Josh Janos' presentation at the Homebrew Review, I'd like to encourage you to check out his nonprofit's upcoming event Brew for Good (brewforgood.org). Here's some more information that he has sent. Thanks!

What is Brew for Good?
Think ‘Beer Dabbler’ but featuring homebrewers.  All proceeds from the event will go to support a local non-profit Think Small, an organization focused on advancing quality care and education of children in their early years. Homebrewers will have the chance to show off their craft, get feedback on their recipe, and earn rewards/prizes. Attendees will learn more about homebrewing, beer judging, and get to taste a variety of beers not offered anywhere else.

Rewards? Prizes? Tell me more!
We’ve got a lot of really cool things in the hopper, here’s a preview of what you could get:
  • a chance to brew your recipe with Clockwerks Brewing, and have it featured at their taproom
  • free beers next time you visit local taprooms (like Lupulin)
  • chances to win other prizes like
    • the opportunity to go brew professionally for a day
    • giftcards
    • and more
*btw - you're gifting to a 501(c)(3) non-profit so consult your tax professional about write-off opportunities

How to Sign Up?
Come feature your best 5-gallon batch (kegged or bottled). Visit brewforgood.org and click ‘Register Now’ under ‘Homebrewers.’

Cheers!
