If anyone remembers WindRiver Brewing that was me, it is a little disappointing that none
of the homebrewers I have run across seem to have ever heard of it. Oh well.
Anyway, a guy at work got me 10 lbs of honey from his dad in Mankato who is a bee keeper.
I was thinking about doing like a 1/2 batch to make a sweet mead. Any recommendations on
yeast? Also, I was considering doing either a cold mead, or someone told me that you can
bring water to a boil add Irish Moss and boil that for 10 minutes, then shut off the heat
and add the honey to the hot water. Also, is Mead like beer in that it needs to be chilled
very quickly for clarity and other reasons?
