We are now excepting entries for the 3rd Annual Byggvir's Big Beer Cup at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.  

We are accepting entries for select beers, mead and ciders through August 31st.  There are special categories for historic beers.

Drop off/shipping locations at Midwest Supplies, Northern Brewer, and Still H2O.  Last year, we had over 100 entries, with pairs of hand-made drinking vessels and gift certificates given out for Best of Show, as well as First and Second Runner-Up.  We have even more prizes to offer this year.

Judging will be held on the MN Renaissance Fest grounds over Labor Day Weekend (September 5th through the 7th) and we welcome judges of all skill levels.  (People who have never judged before will be paired with experienced judges, but you do need to be at least 21 years old.)  Helping us out at the event gets you into the Fest for free on that day and there will be plenty of time to enjoy the all that the Middle Ages has to offer.  Judge and steward sign up is also through August 31st.  (You do need to sign up before the event to partipate.)
