Tuesday May 1st! |
We will be celebrating the first day of May
with the release of our annual Maibock. This Tuesday enjoy $2 glasses of
Maibock from 4-8pm. The kitchen will also be conjuring up some German menu
fare to go along with the release. Our outdoor patio is now open, so come
on up and enjoy a glass of Maibock this Tuesday! (**note: there will be no
cask this week due to the Maibock release party) Maibock (8%abv): This traditional German lager is brewed back in Febuary to give it an appropriate amount of time to age - it is one of 3 lagers that we do every year because of the aging time. We brewed this beer in the traditional double decoction brewing style that releases a multitude of malty flavors charachteristic of the style. A fiery orangish hue from the use of German Munich malt and hopped with German Hallertau. We cold lagered this beer for 4 months to allow the flavors to come together, it was well worth the wait! |
