This event will be held Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th, 2010 at the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center at the WI State Fair Park Grounds, West Allis , WI (just west of Milwaukee , WI ). This year is the ninth year that the WI State Fair Homebrew Competition has adopted the standard BJCP categories for entries & judging. We continue to try to improve this event, hoping to become one of the great homebrew competitions of the area. Last year�s event had approximately 200 entries, and this year we�re anticipating an increase in entries. The competition�s rules & regulations can be found at www.beerbarons.org for your reference. Feel free to take a look at them and get a feel for how this competition is coming along. Friday�s event starts at 6:30 pm with a single round of judging. Saturday�s event begins at 9:00 AM with a second round at 12:00 PM. Lunch will be provided at 11:00 AM for those who volunteer for both Saturday sessions. Also, if you know anyone else that would be interested in judging or stewarding, by all means pass this information on to him or her. Novices are welcome, and will be paired with BJCP judges.
