Greetings all –

Since Chris writes this will be a family-friendly event, I am considering bringing my 6-year-old son—but do not recall any other children in attendance over the past 4 years.

If you’re bringing your kid(s), could you please email and let me know?  (If there aren’t going to be any other kids around, I won’t bring my son.  He’d get REALLY bored listening to us talk about beer!)

Thanks,

Eric and Kim Olson

Subject: [mnbrewers] FW: MHBA Holiday Potluck

2006 Holiday Potluck

Where:  CSPS Hall - 350 Michigan St., St. Paul - Above the Glockenspiel Restaurant

When: Friday, December 8th from 6:00 PM-10:00PM

What to bring:

Food:  Bring a dish to share (the theme is dishes prepared with BEER),  copies of the recipe, serving utensils and extension cords if necessary.  A "People's Choice" award will be given for the best potluck dish.

Beer to share: Bring any beer, mead or cider you wish to share.  There will be a "Peoples Choice" award given for the best beer.  Bottles, growlers or keg are welcome.  The style of the month for December is Dusseldorf Altbier, so don't forget to bring yours along to earn your SOTM sticker for December.  You can also bring any light hybrid beers from the previous SOTM.

Beer to exchange: Bring up to 24 bottles to exchange with your fellow homebrewers.  Label each bottle with your name, email address, style and beer name (if it has one).

Family and Friends: This is a family friendly event, so bring your significant other, kids, and any friends/family that have ever expressed any interest in homebrewing.

Since this is one of the most attended gatherings of the year, it's a great opportunity to get out and meet your fellow homebrewers.  If you have not made it to a meeting ,  the Holiday potluck is a perfect chance to try some great homebrew, delicious food and exchange homebrew with others.

Additionally, the beers brewed during last month's "teach a friend to homebrew" will be available for all to try.
